After a "not-so-warm" winter in Florida we were busy with doctor's visit, phone calls and shopping, washing.
I was very busy with my volunteer work, I was away for 5 months, and it was my turn to give testimony to students, and to attend many meetings.
In May 3rd the Cummings Jewish Centre for Seniors honered the volunteers with 3 hour nice party. Good food, good service by the staff of the Centre and again the ABSOLETE singing lady's group made the celebration a big success.
In May 5th the girls from Villa Maria Highschool (Montreal) came to listen to my testimony. After lots of question, I gave out 10 books of some of the Holocaust survivors, whom came to Canada.
One more party to celebrate and honor the volunteers was in May 7 by the Montreal Holocaust Memorial Centre.
The big event was in the rainy June 6, Ali (Alisson), the daughter of our very much loved Judy, and first husband Berry, married the nice looking and good Neil, son of Pearl and David. Everybody was very happy, including Gordi, the charming and loving step-father of Ali. Guests came from Montreal and from other places, like Eva Kertesz, an old friend of the family from Toronto.
As you see in the drawing of the TABLE a very important event was in June 13, in the Gerber Hall, in Montreal. The confenece was organized by the Holocaust Centre and the EQUITAS International Human Right Organization. It was a week seminars, work shops and discussions. The activist came from English and French and other speaking countries, the conference was in English and French.
My table was very interesting. During the lunch I told them my survivor, and they told their stragle and activ work in their country. We exchange pictures and sent and receieved many
e-mails.

The Cummings Jewish Centre for Seniors invited me and others to a "Honoring Our Volunteers" party in May 3. Lynn Gorodn and others talk about and THANKs about the important work the volunteers do in the Centre. Members of the stuff were serving a nice lunch and The Absulets, the three lovely and talented singers with a musician made the floor very busy.
